Satellite... Space Station... Rockets... Launch vehicles.. ISRO.. NASA

All the words in the title have amused and amazed me all the time I hear anything about them. NASA puts an image of the space everyday in the heading "Image of the day" at their website and puts a brief description about what the images are. They are so admirable and astonishing to see.

My friend Jayathy has more interest than me that both of us together presented a topic on "Interplanetary Network (IPN)" while at college. I can proudly say that we have presented lot of papers in intercollege meets and won prizes. Though those certficates and medals are not of use now, both of our parents were so happy as we brought the gifts and medals home...

Coming back to IPN, it deals with having an internet network at each planet and connecting all the internets across planets together (A Network of Internets). 

 

Setting up internets in planets!?!?! Yes! It must be surprising for those who are reading it for the first time. In the "Space Vision 2025" proposed by ISRO, there is a great chance of human travelling to planets as the vision concentrates of having a human flight  to Mars. As communication is vital, scientists, engineers and programmers are already working on to develop an interplanetary Internet that will connect us to probes and human space travelers, and allow more information to be sent back to Earth.

The amusement never stops whenever discussion on this topics happen.
