Rain... Rain... Go Away
I & Akil came to my mom's place for diwali and still findings ways to go back to Bangalore. He had slight fever and we postponded our date of travel and now, we are planning to apply for his passport and the date given for this is Dec 6th (shhh... dont ask me the reason for applying his passport... its just for the sake of it).
It has been raining heavily on and off from the day we came and for the past one week, rain never seems to be stopping. Major occupation in our area (Gobichettipalayam, Erode) is agriculture and usually, agriculturists and farmers will wait for rain for good harvesting. As the saying goes, "Too much of anything is good for nothing", the weather is so unexpected this time that some crops have started fading. I guess it would be even more worse in the coastal regions and in southern part of Tamil Nadu and everyday in news, we hear that, its going to continue for another two days... Tamil Nadu is worst hit at extreme times, when it rains heavily and when there is drought.
And coming to handling Akil, its so difficult in this rain as he just wants to run out and play in rain.
"Rain Rain Go Away! Little Akil wants to play! Come again some other day!!!"
Wish rain God goes and Sun God comes for some days and again come back when farmers need.
