For weight-watchers!

I had put on lot of extra kgs after Arnav. And now I'm in reducing spree. I have already gone down by 12 to 14 kgs and the one that's helping me is "Bottle Gourd Soup". My mother-in-law often tells that bottle gourd will help to shed out the extra fat in body. Off late, it was my cousin's grandma who told me this recipe and the story of how it helped my cousin be fit even after pregnancy. Bottle gourd is called Sorakkai in Tamil. Here's its simple recipe on how we prepare. 
  • Heat pan and add little oil.
  • Add Jeera seeds & Bottle gourd along with salt and pepper.
  • Fry them well and add water and allow it to boil
  • Once its cooked, grind them well in mixer.
  • The soup is ready to eat.
*For those who really hate bottle gourd, add more jeera and pepper or take a low calorie snack between 2 to 3 sips of the soup.

Most of teh dieticians suggest to avoid or reduce white coloured food items starting from rice, milk, sugar, salt, etc.
