Brother's Love!

On a fine weekend, hubby was having giggles with Arnav. He was making sounds of all animals starting from usual sounds like cow, dog, hen and so on. There is a giraffe picture at home and L showed Giraffe pic and made "nae" sound. Arnav didn't show much interest to this sound and so, he changed the sound to "Kee..Kee". Big brother was not in picture until this. But once he heard this "Kee...Kee..." he ran from nowhere and said,"Appa... you are wrong. Kee Kee is not the sound of Giraffe". L convinced Akil saying that he is making a different sound for Arnav to laugh. After some arguments, Akil finally agreed.

 

But two days later, Akil tells Arnav, "Arnav... Appa told a wrong sound of Giraffe to you. Giraffe doesn't sound Kee...kee... nae is the sound of Giraffe". Arnav laughs and smiles when Akil speaks to him. Later, here is the conversation we had

 

Akil: Amma, lets buy a real Giraffe at home

Me: We don't have so much space at home

Akil: How about a baby Giraffe?

Me: Giraffe is very tall and moreover, it's a wild animal and will be there in forest only

Akil: Giraffe will be there in zoo also

Me: That's right! Not at home

Akil: We can give space for Giraffe in car parking area

Me: Why do u need a Giraffe?

Akil: Arnav is happy in seeing a Giraffe picture. If he sees real Giraffe every day, he will be very happy.

 

Akil often shows his love for Arnav in tiny little things everyday. But sometiems when it becomes too much, Akil gives a tight hug which hurts Arnav and Akil is not able to realise that. That's when managing 'the brothers' become hectic. Otherwise, Arnav also smiles, reacts and feels happy in every little thing Akil does..
