Krishna Jayanthi @ Home
We generally celebrate Krishna jayanthi by visiting any of the Krishna temples. Though this festival is not part of our custom, I wanted to do it for the little Krishna's (Akil & Arnav) at home.

Aval Payasam for Krishna |
I was sure that the little one's will not allow me to do full justice and so I had asked amma and appa to come home for help. They stay 100 kms away from us. But they dropped the plan at the last minute due to an unavoidable work. L was equally busy with office and to my luck, even neighbor friends were busy with guests and other stuffs.

With those justification in place, kept it to the simplest possible - drew krishna's foot and made aval payasam which was the simplest possible recipe for Krishna. When I told Akil that it's Krishna's birthday, his immediate question was "Where is the cake for Krishna's birthday?". To satisfy him, I kept few chocolates for Krishna :) Akil repeated all the slogam's by constantly starring at the chocolates. :D He knew that he will get the chocolates only after that. Arnav was very sweet and lovely!
Overall, it was a great day for the kids.
