Smart Boy!
During the delivery period of Arnav, we spent about 3 weeks in the hospital. One day when chief pediatrician and his assistants came to meet us, Akil was also there. He spoke to Akil in a friendly gesture and ended his conversation saying "Smart Boy!". Akil replied with a stern face, "I am not a smart boy. I am a good boy!". All of us had a good giggle! It took me days together to make him understand "smart". :)
There is an opposites book at home which has got awesome pictures and flip-flop's to make it interesting for kids. Akil has been glazing through the book for past two days and now he is totally into opposites. He asks me unusual things like what is opposite of sharing, sorry, thanks, etc. I squeeze my mind to give answers. And today, he was putting his uniform into washing machine after returning from school. As he was doing it, he asked me, "Amma... what is the opposite of washing machine?!!?!?" LOL :D Only kids can get such strange thoughts!
