Relocation!

We have shifted 8 houses in 7 years in Bangalore and everything was for very valid reasons. Both of us hate to travel in this hectic traffic of Bangalore and end up shifting our home as our offices get shifted. In some houses, we have stayed as short as 4 months. The home where we are now is the only home where we have stayed for more than a year. When we completed one year, I was totally surprised and excited (even felt like distributing chocolates all around). All of us are very happy with this apartment and most of all, Akil loves it and has good friends. But "time to shift" has knocked our doors again. For a change, it's not within Bangalore, we are relocating to a different city "COIMBATORE".

Oppurtunity knocked us just in time, luckily before I could finalise a school for Akil. Coimbatore (CBE) is just 1 to 1.5 hours drive to my native and this is the only basis for our relocation. It will be very easy for our parents to visit us and for us to visit them. L is joining a new company and I hope & pray that this is an ideal company for him.

There are many things for which I am going to terribly miss in Bangalore.

• Good climate
• Lovely friends... (there are lot of them in CBE but Blore friends will be missed)
• Akil will not be able to learn multiple languages. (But he will learn to read and write our mother tongue Tamil which maynot be possible in Blore).
• Variety of dress materials. CBE is expensive
• Concept play schools for Akil... Not many of them are there in CBE
• Akil's hair stylist. He is too good, specially with kids
• Range of Shopping malls & eateries
• McDonald (Hope one will open sooner in CBE)

I have spent about 14 years of my education in CBE. So, the place is definitely not new for me but have not roamed around post that. Heard from my friends that it has changed to a great extent with giant software companies like CTS, Robert Bosch coming up in a big way. I hope & pray to God that we spend long years happily with good health & prosperity in Coimbatore.
