And a sentence from Akil!
I had told in the post here on how Akil started off in speaking. Now, he repeats all the words we say and also tries to repeat them as sentence. Sentences were not much clearer. In the last weekend, we had been to a birthday party (Birthday baby - Laasya). As we were planning to attend the party, I kept telling Akil that he has to say "Happy birthday Laasya". He would say "aappy" and smile. I was still fine. My friend at our apartment Anu, her cute son Gautham, Akil & I started off to the party. When the cake cut happened, all of us started to sing and surprisingly, Akil also joined and sang "Happy birthday to you" to the tune. I just couldn't believe it and was overwhelmed with joy.

The party was superbly organized with bollywood songs, tattoo painting, cup cakes, italian food and so on. Akil absolutely had fun time specially in dancing on the stage. In fact, all the kids had wonderful time. Return gifts were very new! Thanks to Shweta (Lassya's mom) for organizing such a great one.
After coming back home, Akil sang the song to his dad continuously for 3 or 4 times. L was totally amazed and recorded the sweet song! Now, he also tries to sing along "Twinkle Twinkle" rhyme.
And two days later, a 4 year old little girl was making a cake with sand, water and her sand toys. She decorated it with flowers and sticks as candles and told Akil that its a birthday cake. Innocently, Akil started off singing the song again. She was also too happy and asked Akil to taste the cake. When Akil was about to touch the cake, with friendly gesture she said "You shouldn't eat it.. but just act like eating :) ". Kids are amazingly sweet always.
