Miles to go...
As per custom in most of the communities in India, girls have two places after marriage. One is the place where we were brought up (Birth home -- Pirandha veedu in Tamil) and the other is where our hubbies were brought up (Pugundha veedu in Tamil). Frogs have two places (water & land) and so are Indian women :-D. Thats how its compared. We come to our dad's home during 7th or 9th month of pregnancy and leave to hubby's home when kid is 11 month old. This varies... Some go when kid is 3 month old itself... But its usually in odd month.
We (I & my son Akil) are at my dad's home now which is a small loving town Kavindapadi in Tamil Nadu, India. We are definitely enjoying here and so are my parents. But at the same time, missing my hubby and he is missing our presence. He is all alone in Bangalore. Hence, we have decided to travel there this Sunday (14th March). Bangalore, the green city, is still greener when compared to other metro's and is too hi-fi with lot of malls. Am sure Akil will enjoy those. Travelling is 300 kms... will take around 5 hours of journey.
So, next post from the Sillicon valley of India, Bangalore...
