Vinnai Thandi Varuvaaya -- Amazing Songs...
Like most of the tamilians in the world, I am also looking forward for the release of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. Just a week to go for the release. Not sure if I can make time out with my naughty cute little one to watch the movie but should make some time atleast within a month...
I loved all the songs in the movie... Of course, its AR Rehman and there is no doubt for the songs to be too good.
All the songs are quite soft. It seems the team wanted the songs to be globally hit as this is the first album after ARR's oscar and grammy awards. Though the lyrics might not be understandable by all, they hope that the tune will be in the mind of everyone like how we sing Spanish songs by Ricky Martin, etc. But the team have not failed to satisfy the Tamil audience.
My favourite songs in the movie are Hosanna, Kannukkul Kannai, mannipaaya, Omana penne. Thamarai's lyrics have always been amazing. She is one of the few female lyricists who has been so successful in movies. She hails from the place where I had my education. (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu). I guess most of us feel the proudness to say a celebrity is from our place or college.
I hope and wish Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya movie becomes a huge hit like the songs...
