Arnav's First Day @ Play School

Oct 1, 2015 marked Arnav's first day at school. The play school is next door to home and it was a place that Arnav visits during evening walks. Mom, Myself, L and Akil were all ready early on the day and was sure that Arnav will cry and yell a lot though he was super excited that all of us are talking about him and doing something or the other for him. Not just us, in fact many of our neighbors were so worried that I'm leaving him early in playschool. He was almost 2.5 years old and I thought this to be the right time.

At playschool, most of the teachers know Akil as he was there for a summer camp. So, it was easier to introduce Arnav to them. On the first day, Akil sat along with Arnav in his class just to make him comfortable. Maybe because the place is known , he was really a good boy and never cried to all our surprise.

 

 

Its been a month and he seems to be enjoying it though there are few complaints that he doesn't eat. Arnav speaks lot of words now though not sentences. He is able to understand and respond to our questions spontaneously. I have the first meeting with his teacher this Saturday and I'm looking forward for it.
