A much needed break in life - an amazing trip to Goa! This trip also marked 2 year completion for Arnav. Those 4 days were like a stay in heaven with my blessed family - L, two treasures and of course, me! We planned early and booked tickets and rooms much early. But never believed that the trip would happen with our unpredictable naughty nuts.
We started off from home on 5th March 2015 and it marked the first flight journey for kids. Both of them were equally excited. There was no direct flight to Goa and we had to break in between at Bangalore. They stay at Bangalore airport was for about an hour or two. But the feel of being Bangalore was great!
Arrived at Goa around 3 PM and the room was booked at Taj. We didn't want to take a chance with sometimes cranky Arnav. But to our surprise, he enjoyed trip and always looked curious about the journey in Goa, the places we visited, etc. At around 5 PM, we stepped out to a beach (Miranmar Beach) about 1 km away from the hotel. The taxi and auto prices are way too high in Goa. Arnav was super excited that he wanted to walk deeper into the sea. So was Akil. I had the beach sand toys ready for them to play. They sat closer to the water to the best possible and had a great time!
The next day, we visited another beach which is one of the popular beaches in Goa - Baga Beach. These are popular for water sports. But Arnav was restricted for most of the sports. So it was only L & Akil who enjoyed some trips. And from there, we went to arpora night market. This place was hyped too much. It had food, music and shopping - all at one place. I somehow didn't find it great. Third day was the most awaited one. It was our little hero's birthday. Taj hotel made it extra special by sponsoring balloons and cake which we never expected.
We also had an exciting trip planned - visit to spice plantation. It was exciting for kids because there was elephant ride and elephant shower. Elephant shower was awesome. Akil explains it as I took bath for elephant and elephant took bath for me. Arnav didn't like it and started crying. Akil told this to Arnav, "Arnav, stop crying. If you cry, elephant will become sad." :) He was more worried about elephant than bro!

And then was the trip to see Dolphins - Akil claims it as his favorite sea animal. This was at Silhoutte beach. Dolphin just pops out for a sec and goes inside. That was the great excitement for kids. And L captured it right to the best possible. On the way we also saw a 400 year old church. Forth day was a relaxed one with stay at hotel and packing back. It was a good chill out for the whole family. :)
