Those "tricky" questions
Like any kid, Akil has also been throwing loads of questions... Here are few that I felt to be interesting
=========================
Akil: Amma... Why do Gods have wild animals as per animals?
Myself: Mmmm... Muruga (Hindu God Subramaniyam) has peacock only as his animal
Akil: No.. Have you seen his dad? He has snake around his neck. That's his pet animal. Have you seen his mom? She has lion as her pet animal. I also want to have like them
Myself: Errr... Those are good wild animals. They are well tamed but we cannot tame wild animals
Akil: I'm a good boy. Wild animals will not hurt me. I want elephant
Myself: Okay.. Check with your appa and see (that's the only answer I have to escape from him)
=========================
They have annual day at school and he was removed from dance stating he was not doing well. A conversation on that
Akil: Amma.. I'm not in dance. Mam removed me and asked me to hold umbrella.
Myself: Okay Akil. Don't worry. We will learn dance next year
Akil: No Amma. I'm not worried. I'm very happy. If we dance, my legs will pain. I cannot talk to friends while dancing. But now, when others dance, I can simply sit and talk
Myslef: hahahaaa... (As far as he is happy, we are fine)
=========================
At bedtime, Akil needs new stories every day. It is becoming so difficult to create one. This conversation on a day when I was totally drowsy
Akil: Amma, let me a new bedtime story today
Myself: Akil, I didnt read any new stories today. So, for a change lets sleep without stories
Akil: No... I want story
Myself: I don't know any
Akil: Okay.. I have an idea. Tell me the difference between crocodile and alligator
Myself: Mmmm... I don't know that as well
Akil: I know that. You don't like animals. So, you don't know. Take your mobile and read it for me
Myself: (By this what he meant was I should do a google and read and tell him) Stout and behaviour of both these were different and many other which was a learning for me as well

Sometimes, elders post this question to Akil
What do you want to be when you become big like appa?
At 4 year old,
Nothing. I just want to be simply at home
At 4.5 year old,
I want to become a doctor and take care of babies
At 5 year old,
I want to be an engineer and contruct tall buildings to the height of sky
Akil: Amma... you and many big people like you
And recently (at 5.5 year old)
Akil: Amma.. you have been asking me what I want to become when I become big like appa
Myself: Oh! Yeh.. What do you want to beome?
Akil: I want to become like mama who comes in animal planet. He moves closely with many wild animals. I like animals. I want to be like him
Myself: Okay. Fine!
(Only fact I could get is his craze for animals is growing day by day.. Not sure if we have to be happy about it! For now, moving with his interest)
